Almost there...

Ancients Consider the Years Cover

Good news! Our new high school text for Year One, Ancients is almost ready to go. Surprise, it isn’t called the Companion anymore. It’s called “Consider the Years,” after a parallel phrase from the same verse as “Remember the Days.” “Remember the days of old,” Moses tells the children of Israel in Deuteronomy 32:7 (NKJV). “Consider the years of many generations. Ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you…” BP has remembered the days with younger students, now we’re considering the years with older students. We’re taking a more in-depth look at Biblical and World History, adding more details gleaned from more primary sources.

We know the book is coming out a bit late for customers who start their new school years in August. In light of that, we’re offering a special deal. For a limited time, you’ll be able to buy the ebook and the hardcopy together for one price. You can download the ebook right away, and we’ll send you the hardcopy when it comes from the printer’s–probably in about six weeks. This option will appear on our web store starting on Monday, August 2nd.

The supplements will take a bit longer. The first three weeks of Cool History for Upper Middles, Cool History for Advanced and Hands-On Maps for Advanced will soon appear in our free three-week sample bundle. The full versions will become available as we finish them up over the next few weeks, starting with HOMA. The Discussion Guide will unfortunately take longer, as it’s getting a total facelift to go with the new text. We wish we could deliver it all sooner, but this is the best we can do. We’ve worked evenings and weekends beyond count, neglected our kids, and missed out on a lot of fellowship to bring the project to where it is now. We’ve put our very best into it, and we trust you’ll find it’s been worth the wait.
