“Remember the days of old; consider the generations long past. Ask your father and he will tell you; your elders, and they will explain to you.”
— Deuteronomy 32:7
“I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done. I spread out my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land.”
— Psalm 143:5-6

Remember the Days is a fun new series for grades K – 7. These books teach history the way kids like to learn it: in story form, with a friendly layout and plenty of colorful pictures. Amaze your kids with great stories from around the world, and from ancient times down through modern times. Study U.S. History, World History, Church History, Geography and more-- all in order, in context and written from a Christian world view. A customer wrote:

"Loving the Remember the Days book! As an adult history geek and parent of tweens and teens I LOVE the Companion, but it was proving way too heady for my 10 and under kiddos. So we bit the bullet and got the Remember the Days too. PERFECT! The girls (6, 6, 8, and 10) were engaged, fascinated, and understood everything. The vital information is all there, just on their level. You have impressed me yet again. Thank you for great homeschool history products."

Remember the Days covers most of the same topics as the Companion, and in the same weeks of study. But it is written for a younger audience, with more stories and pictures for younger children to enjoy. BP has already field-tested Medieval Days and Early Modern Days with a Christian school, and our students love it!

Both Remember the Days and the Companion work with all of these BP products:

  • Family Guide
  • Cool History for Littles
  • Cool History for Middles
  • Hands-On Maps for Middles
  • Craft Book
  • Coloring Book
  • Hands-On Notebooking
  • Discussion Guide

NOTE: Remember the Days doesn’t work with Cool History for Upper Middles, Cool History for Advanced and Hands-On Maps for Advanced. For those, students need the extra material found in the Companion.

Adding Remember the Days gives BP users more options:

  • If all your students are grade 7 or below, then we recommend Remember the Days.
  • Start with a Bundle for Middles or Bundle for Littles, then add whatever else you need.
  • If all your students are grade 8 or above, then we recommend the Companion. Start with a Bundle for Upper Middles or Bundle for Advanced.
  • If you have students in both categories, then you have two options. You can use the Companion for all ages; or you can use Remember the Days for your younger students, and the Companion for your older ones. All students will still cover the same topics in the same weeks.
